Patient presents with gingival recession and canine teeth in the palate.  The deciduous canines are retained.

 

  

The white line represents the gum line prior to gingival grafting and the orange line represents the gum line following grafting.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

The same patient following orthodontic treatment with adult canines in position.  Stable gingival grafting two years following surgery gives a superior aesthetic result.
